A food tour is just like meeting a local friend in a new city. Your friend will always take you to the best places to eat!

I have been taking guests on Food walks in Florence for over 15 years. With my team of wonderful local guides, sommeliers and food lovers you can understand Regional and seasonal food with our fun and informative walks. Check out our Top 4 Food and Wine Walks in Florence.

Florence Food Lovers Gourmet Walk

This is our most popular walk. Available at 10am or 03.00pm.  We meet you at your accommodations in the historical centre. The walk is a great way to get orientated and understand the city.

If you are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel we will check out the many (secret & closed) wine windows along Borgo Pinti and give you some insight to great places to eat in your area.  Stop in to Vivoli for a delicious fruit sorbet. You may be staying at Ad Astra in San Frediano we will be sure to pass by sforno as we weave our way toward the historical centre passing local historical butchers and the best raw food in the town if not in the world! at Raw Vegan

We take you to taste and learn about regional and national cuisine. Tastings at local bakeries, farm to table delicatessens, truffle panini with prosecco and chianti. A great experience with kids we have a selection of delicious snacks just for them! Favorite stops also include a chocolate shop and gelato. San Lorenzo Market with our Food Lovers Tour

We love both the original 'San Lorenzo' and modern 'Mercato Centrale' market place. We start our walk at Giannis wine bar for a taste of hand cut prosciutto from the Casentino and a glass of wine. Continue to the indoor markets to arrive at the oldest street food stand. Enjoy a porchetta panino or the typical Florentine 'Lesso' boiled beef with chilli or parsely sauce.

We will meet up with local vendors and have a good laugh with the butchers and fish mongers! while tasting delicious flavors. Head up stairs to discover one of the best bakers in Florence David Bedu and enjoy a cannoli at Carmelo Pannocchietti's stand. Starts at 12.30pm a street food lunch tour 140€ per person for Two Adults, 120 Euro for Three Adults, 110 Euro for 4-5 Adults, Kids under 6 free of charge from 7-17 yrs 70 Euro min 2 adults with the booking

Aperitivo Time! Florence Wine Tour

The much loved Aperitivo changes from Region to Region. In Florence we are surrounded by Chianti. We can enjoy a typical rustic aperitivo with crostini and a glass of Chianti wine. We can also enjoy an aperitivo at an Enoteca that serves wine by the glass and serves charcuterie that will pair perfectly with every glass!

Another option is a Cocktail. The Negroni was born in Florence! or you can enjoy a spritz - with Campari. Check out my article in TML Magazine about the Aperitivo Starts at 05.45pm stopping at two locations to enjoy two glasses of wine and a cocktail. - Salute!  Duration: 2 hours price from 150€ per person for two - 135 Euro for Three Adults, 115 Euro for 4-5 Adults
